The Knipex Forged Wire Stripper is manufactured from high-grade special tool steel; forged, multi stage oil-hardened. Cuts: cable, wires, NM-B, BX and MC. Strips solid and stranded wires 10 to 20 AWG and cuts 6-32 and 8-32 screws without threading. Shear cutting blades offer 50% higher cutting capacity than competition and 25% cutting power reduction. It's easy to locate stripping holes by using one of the locating ridges.
Fitted with ergonomic multi-component grips for added grip and comfort. An integrated opening spring makes frequent cutting easier. The lock can either be used left or right handed. It also features a wire looping groove to loop wire for attaching to screws and a conduit reaming for removing burrs.
