HIKOKI - NEW BRAND NAME FOR HITACHI

Hitachi Koki  will change to “HiKOKI” officially on power tools from 1st October 2018 in line with the company’s ambitious international growth strategy. The new brand name broken down uses a lowercase “i” in its first syllable, and includes the implicit numeral “1” to express their commitment of providing customers with the “No. 1” products on the market, and their aim to achieve “No. 1” global status.

1 x 230mm G23ST Grinder which is the best in its class, lightweight and with improved overload durability. The motor has halved stator coils for excellent cooling efficiency, which also increases motor durability. It has a three position side handle and a spindle lock for increased safety. Labyrinth construction, further prolongs the tools life, as the motor is protected from dust and debris. The stator core has been downsized by 6mm in diameter to reduce the overall weight. This results in an increase in maximum power output per unit mass. (PLEASE NOTE: For safety and transport reasons, this 9" Grinder has NO plug fitted to the power cord of the 110v version)
