Description

3M™ Cubitron™ II Flap Disc 967A provides improved cut rate and flexibility through its flap construction, allowing single-step grinding and blending. Featuring 3M Precision Shaped Grain, the triangular points create a high cut rate with minimal pressure, self-sharpening as they fracture. This efficient cut rate is particularly useful in weld grinding, edge grinding, blending and deburring tasks, reducing operator fatigue. With its heat activated grinding aid, operators have a reliable disc for various metals; the aid also maintains lower temperatures on stainless steel and heat sensitive metals like nickel and titanium. Durability is ensured by its Y-weight poly-cotton backing, guaranteeing even wear with no glazing or dulling. Flap discs are three-dimensional, featuring abrasive-coated and fibre reinforced flaps, fanning out from a central hub. As the layers wear away, fresh abrasive mineral is exposed for a consistent cut. Reaching one grade finer than typical fibre discs.
