Description

Our heavy duty 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 982C provides advanced performance and long-lasting life for a variety of applications, such as edge chamfering, bevelling, removing carbon steel welds, mill scale, pits and imperfections, and machining grooves. Featuring 3M Precision Shaped Grain technology, our discs create triangular shaped grains electrostatically positioned on the backing to sharpen as points break off and slice through metal efficiently. The vulcanized fibre backing is strong and can handle tough grinding tasks. Our discs reduce grinding pressure and operator fatigue, and double the cut rate and lifespan of conventional ceramic industrial abrasive discs. Use them to grind and blend large and small areas of metal surfaces, plus more parts per disc are completed in heavy duty tasks, reducing the need for frequent changes.
