Other features include a sleep mode, 24-hour timer, auto defrost and auto start and washable filter. It is simple to operate using the touch panel with LED digital display or remote control. There is built-in overload protection for safety. The unit is easy to move around and position using the carry handles and castor wheels. It uses environmentally safe R-290 refrigerant. The remote control requires 2 x AAA batteries (available separately). It is supplied with a sash window kit with 1.5m exhaust hose, which allows for sash windows to be easily and quickly sealed for maximum efficiency.
